BeautifulFigures

==========

This plugin is based on A List Apart‘s "If I Told You You Had a Beautiful Figure" — www.alistapart.com/articles/figurehandler

It provides the following helper method:

captioned_figure_tag(figure,opts)

Installation

script/plugin machinesmonstersandmadness.com/svn/plugins/trunk/beautiful_figure

Usage

<%= captioned_figure_tag(figure,opts) %>

where option can be one or more of the following:

:title — The title of the caption, defaults to "Figure 1" :type — The type of the figure :caption — The caption, defaults to "" :credit — Figure is credited to, optional, but only prints if a type

           is listed

:id — id of the figure, defaults to "figure_#{opts[:title].gsub(/ /,"_")}" :d_link — arguments to a url_for pointing to a descriptive link;

           can either be a string or a hash.

If you‘d like the figure to be nicely formatted, include the beautiful_figures.css stylesheet in your layout.
